Our Vision...

The vision that fuels our work in Children’s Ministries grows out of Jesus’ words in Mark 10:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” In the midst of a consuming ministry to adults, Jesus regularly ministered to children. We believe the future of the church depends on effective ministry to children today.

The goal of Faith Weaver Friends is to build lasting, meaningful relationships between kids and God, kids and kids, and kids and adults. From crafts to music to snacks to service projects - every engaging activity drives the weekly Bible Point home. And through it all, children disvocer they have a real friend in Jesus.

Our Kidz Music Ministries provides another opportunity for children to learn about Jesus Christ, this time through praise and worship through music, dance and drama. Rehearsals are held weekly and include basic musical training and song preparation. The Kidz Choir ministers several times throughout the year including musical productions.

Children's Quizzing is a Bible study program for children in grades 1-6. The purpose is to teach the Bible in a fun and exciting way, creating a desire and a love for the study of the Bible. In Children's Quizzing, each child challenges himself or herself to reach award levels.

Extreme Preteens is a ministry for kids in 5th and 6th grades. Preteens are still technically in the children's ministry category—but they consider themselves too old for elementary activities. They want to be treated like grown-ups, and they have unique spiritual needs. While this is an exciting, change-filled age, it's also a crucial time to nurture kids' faith development, to make a difference in their lives, and to incorporate them into the larger church body. Extreme Preteens provides opportunites for kids to serve, learn and grow.
